YSS Report 8/13/2021

 

The Youth Services Section has not had meetings recently due to the YSS chair stepping down unannounced. Conference Liaison Katrina Ireland was notified, and alerted the rest of the YSS board, in early August. 

 

This year’s elections were not held in April. Katrina sent out a call for nominations in early August for chair, vice chair, and secretary; deadline for nominations is August 20.

 

The YSS Flyleaf Newsletter debuted in March as a monthly publication, and YSS participated in the 2021 MLA Annual Conference online in May of 2021. 

Our plans are to continue the newsletter with either the existing committee and/or new members.
